Errol Wyles Justice Campaign and Foundation

The campaign has been co-ordinated by Stewart Levitt, principal of Levitt Robinson, Solicitors, on a pro bono basis.  The main objective of the campaign is to achieve justice for the family of the Aboriginal youth, Errol Wyles, who was killed in violent and tragic circumstances in 2003.

The secondary objective is to expose the atrocious level of violence and vilification directed towards Aboriginal people in North Queensland, in particular, and to promote their equal protection and treatment under the criminal law.

We want to make this a grass roots campaign and to encourage people with an interest in assisting, to contact us, so that we can compile a register of persons who may actively work with us in this campaign – everyone, lay people and other lawyers included.

We are also collecting information about acts of violence committed against indigenous people, wherever in Australia, which have been either not been adequately investigated or punished.
