EXPERTISE & EXPERIENCE

Alison has over fifteen years experience, as a barrister and solicitor.   Whilst her experience has largely been in the resolution of commercial/equity disputes, Alison has a broad range of experience as a litigator, acting for a major bank, for franchisees and in industrial relations disputes.  Alison is familiar with all jurisdictions in New South Wales. 

Alison has accomplishments in the following practice areas:

General and Commercial Litigation: Advice, drafting pleadings and conducting litigation in a variety of challenging cases in the Federal, Supreme, and District Courts involving contractual disputes, commercial and equity matters.

Bankruptcy and Insolvency: In undertaking accreditation as a commercial litigator Alison specialised in this area having had significant experience in  bankruptcy matters (including appearing for a trustee on preferential payment claims and on an annulment application) and general experience in acting for a liquidator and for both creditors and debtors.
