EXPERTISE & EXPERIENCE

Brett joined Levitt Robinson in 2002 with a background of 12 years of experience, gained initially at Freehill Hollingdale & Page and more recently, from 7 years at the firm, Packer & Austin.
He has extensive experience in all civil litigation forums, particularly in general commercial litigation in the Federal, Supreme and District Courts. Brett has had the conduct of a wide variety of litigation for both Plaintiffs and Defendants, acting for large financial houses and corporations and for individual litigants.

Brett is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation.
Brett's experience includes:

Trade Practices: Advice, drafting pleadings and conducting actions alleging misleading and deceptive conduct and advancing consumer protection interests.

Equitable Disputes and Remedies: Advice, drafting pleadings and conducting litigation with respect to the gamut of equitable disputes and remedies, including fiduciary duties, breach of trust, constructive and resulting trusts, confidential information, promissory and proprietary estoppel and tracing.

Commercial Causes: Advice, drafting pleadings, and conducting litigation concerning a wide range of breach of contract and debt recovery matters, conversion, guarantees and mortgages.

Insolvency: Brett has successfully represented trustees and liquidators in unwinding uncommercial and insolvent transactions and returning dividends to creditors.
