EXPERTISE & EXPERIENCE
Stewart has had vast experience in domestic and international Business, Banking and Corporate Law, Equity, Insolvency, Crime, Migration and Land and Environment Law and is a tenacious and skilful litigator, with exceptional tactical and advocacy skills.
He has appeared without counsel, in the High Court of Australia and has managed and maintained legal proceedings in the United States and South Africa. Stewart has acted as agent for firms in Israel and Asia, advised the Republic of Nauru (even assisting as a speechwriter for that island nation's leaders) and acted as legal counsel to European diplomatic legations.
He has written speeches for significant Australian figures and media releases for individuals and corporations.
Equally at home in and out of the courtroom, according to Stewart, 'Any lawyer can get you your just deserts. A good lawyer can get you more than you deserve' and his favourite aphorism is: 'You can fight City Hall'.
