Stewart Levitt is best known for his work as a lawyer, who advocates for the marginalised and less powerful against the powers that be, from down-at-the-heel farmers, to indigenous outliers.
Too Soon to Be Late is an impressive 184-page compilation of poetry, which draws upon Levitt’s liberal values, Jewish heritage and experience as an Australian lawyer.
The work is both personal and political, featuring themes of social activism, politics and human rights, Levitt’s close-knit family and travels around the globe. He has been to every continent except Antarctica.
The book will be available to purchase online from 16th October 2019
